“So question: is Tiefer a hebephile in general or is it just Jehan? Like, would he get hot and bothered at the sight of a sexy teen boy in general, or does Jehan get special treatment for looking like his daddy?”

kmclaude:

Jehan’s special for looking like his daddy but I think Tiefer does have a preference for older teens and young adults–jailbait and college boys but I mean, that’s fairly normal for adults to be attracted to other sexually mature people, he’s not like…actively pursuing based on someone’s age (he’s just also not about to stop upon finding out someone’s say 16 or 17. So no, he’s not really.

Claude’s response to someone asking if one of his characters is a hebephile (pedophile with a preference for 11- to 14-year-olds) for being attracted to his underage godson.

If an adult is attracted to a minor, they are a pedophile period, even if they’re only focused on a particular person. They’re also a pedophile if they continue to sexually pursue someone after finding out they’re 16.

Also, claiming it’s okay for adults to be attracted to sexually mature people in the same sentence where you refer to older teens as ‘jailbait’ proves you think it’s okay for adults to pursue minors who’ve hit puberty, which makes you a pedophile and abuse apologist.

Claude’s Drinking Problems

kmclaude:

“I probably am one – I go on mild benders, then stop for mooooonths, and then whoops. Which… probably fits the definition of ‘functional alcoholic’.

But I can’t use art as an outlet without being called every horrible thing in the book, harassed, abused, and treated like crap by everyone (including people I like) while the entire world around us goes to hell, so I might as well slowly kill myself and numb everything in the process. I’m just hoping I can make good enough art before that happens.”

Dude, you’ve reblogged posts blaming minors for their sexual trauma, you’ve openly longed for your own harem of little boys, and you’ve repeatedly treated your critics like crap. I don’t want to hear about how people who call you out are bullies and abusers. Also, quit blaming your critics for your drinking problems, it’s manipulative as hell.

“Claude flat-out shows how much he hates women and acts like rape culture isn’t real. How does anyone support this sick fuck?”

Before anyone tries to argue that K. M. Claude doesn’t hate women, keep in mind he has stated that all women are ‘fucking cunts’. Also, he has downplayed rape culture while using victim-blaming rhetoric.

As for why Claude still has fans: People have a tendency to defend their favorite content creators no matter what. They probably believe that because Claude draws well, he can be as terrible as he likes.

“I’m on the ‘Rape culture is a thing, but people tend to overexaggerate it’ team and like… Fiction doesn’t encourage rape? Normalization is top-down, and it’s more reinforced by cultural gender roles than anything? Anon needs to stop drinking the Kool-Aid?”

kmclaude:

“Bingo. Useful term that’s been taken out back, fucked up the ass, and bastardized to hell and back. Like most social justice.”

Constantly portraying rape as desirable, romantic, sexy, etc. absolutely can normalize it. Also, I find it interesting that you downplay rape culture when you:

  • Reblogged a post blaming minors for their sexual trauma.
  • Equated being asked to stop romanticizing rape with being banned from ever discussing it, indicating that you believe romanticizing rape is an integral part of depicting it.
