“TBH I’m surprised more people don’t ship it too, but imagine Lucien making excuses to hold his dad’s hand.”

kmclaude:

hhhh I’m both shocked because why wouldn’t you ship it and not shocked because have you SEEN the purity wank and the state of fandom thanks to Tumblr lately?

Apparently, wanting fandoms to be free of content that promotes incest and pedophilia is just ‘purity wank’ now.

Go away, Claude.

“I think it is a little hypocritical that you’re okay with criticizing that person in your ‘antis can’t art’ post for the sake of a point, but people can’t offer criticism on your work without having paid to view it.”

kmclaude:

…Who’s gonna tell Anon-chan about all the free art I post freely for free all the time….…WHO’S GONNA TELL ANON-CHAN ABOUT ALL THE OTHER WRITERS AND COMIC CREATORS AND SUCH WHO SELL THEIR WORKS….

Claude literally said, ‘If you’re reading for free? Have a seat’, in response to a question on Twitter about whether or not they accept unsolicited criticism.

“I feel like Claude’s a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to criticism. They don’t want it but they’ll call someone else’s work something that an 8- or 9-year-old can do. And misgender them on top of it.”

Response to this.

Oh yeah, they’re definitely a hypocrite when it comes to criticism. From K. M. Claude’s Twitter:

“My view: If you paid money for it [Claude’s comics], I figure ya got some right to bitch because IDC I got my cut. If you’re reading for free? Have a seat.”

The fact that they misgendered someone in the process just makes it worse.

“I hate how Caitlyn Jenner’s brought up and he acts like she’s not counted as trans. She is. But she’s a fucking Republican who voted for Trump. People don’t like her because she’s a racist asshat. Why does Claude care so fucking much?”

(Original post)

K. M. Claude posted that in response to this (Basically, people were upset about others interpreting problematic/evil characters as trans).

On one hand, Claude has a point – trans people are capable of being evil/problematic/unpleasant/etc. just like any other group of people. However, I agree that it seems hypocritical for Claude to get so worked up over this when they falsely accuse people of transphobia whenever they get called out for something.

“He thinks he’s the one being bullied and abused. Ha. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!”

You know what’s really disturbing about this? Every time someone calls out K. M. Claude for their gross kinks, they claim that person is only attacking them because they’re trans. It makes it sound like Claude thinks being a pedophile, a necrophile, or some other kind of gross person is on the same level as being trans.

“Roachpatrol and Claude are like, ‘What’s wrong with sexualizing stuff?’. You fucking know why it’s wrong you just wanna sea lion people into going with your bullshit.”

(Anon is referring to this post)

K. M. Claude and roachpatrol are missing the point. When people complain about sexualization, they’re complaining about:

  • People, particularly marginalized people, being oversexualized and reduced to fetish objects.
  • Portraying harmful things such as rape, pedophilia, or incest as sexy.
    • I’d like to remind people that both Claude and Roach have made erotic fiction about minors being sexually abused. Claude has also created a lot of rape/incest-themed porn involving their adult characters.

“I don’t understand why they bring up Stephen King and act like no one has criticized his sexualization of minors, specifically girls, in his books. Like, I know a ton of people who are creeped out by the gross underage sex in some of his books. Why does Claude think people don’t criticize this?”

K. M. Claude seems to have the mindset of, ‘Other people are doing this thing, so that makes it okay’. Like, no, other peoples’ bad behavior doesn’t cancel out their bad behavior.

Also, I think part of the problem is Claude surrounds themself with people who either a.) sexualize minors in their own works, or b.) support and consume media that sexualizes minors, so their opinion of what’s acceptable is pretty warped.

Unhealthy as Fuck

Couple of anonymous Tumblr asks
“I get that people use things to cope but the shit they’re into is unhealthy as fuck. K. M. Claude’s group are so concerned with writing ‘dark fiction’ and act like people are being Puritans for not wanting people to write shit that glorifies abuse/child abuse.”

Yeah, I have a really hard time believing K. M. Claude draws the things they draw for catharsis or any kind of coping, considering they made statements like ‘I want a harem of shotas’ and called themself an underage kink-haver.

Also, there is absolutely no reason for Claude (or anyone else) to post pornographic artwork of children. It only encourages pedophiles to view kids as sex objects, and many pedophiles have used this material to groom children for sex.

“Anon seems to think you’re calling them a pedophile. Like, no, you’re not. -____-“

(Archived link to the post Anon is referring to.)

Some of my posts tagged with #pedophile or #pedophiles:

  • Masterlist of pedophiles on Tumblr with Claude’s name on it [x]
  • Comic where they call themselves an ‘underage kink-haver’ [x]
  • Old post from Claude’s personal blog, sadademort, where they imply they deserve a silver medal for being a pedophile [x]
  • I tag posts about K. M. Claude sexualizing minors in their artwork with #pedophile or #pedophiles

So while I’ve referred to Claude as a pedophile, it’s entirely justified because they’ve implied they’re an actual pedophile, and because they fetishize minors in some of their artwork.

“Check Claude’s blog for a crazy rude response from them and their crew to someone offering some pretty innocent concrit.”

I love how they accuse that person of harassment when all they did is point out minor flaws in K. M. Claude’s art.

Links:

  • Original ask [x]
  • K. M. Claude thinks that if you’re not paid for your art, you’re completely immune to criticism [x]
  • Claude accuses a different anon of harassing their friend because of a couple of innocent questions [x], [x]
  • K. M. Claude falsely accuses the original anon of bugging Claude’s friend, despite that person’s claims that they didn’t do it. [x]

Update:

Originally, I said there was one anon who was attacked by Claude for offering a bit of constructive criticism, then messaging one of Claude’s friends about it. Actually, there were two different anons, one who sent K. M. Claude some suggestions about their artwork, and another who contacted one of Claude’s friends.
