K. M. Claude posted that in response to this (Basically, people were upset about others interpreting problematic/evil characters as trans).
On one hand, Claude has a point – trans people are capable of being evil/problematic/unpleasant/etc. just like any other group of people. However, I agree that it seems hypocritical for Claude to get so worked up over this when they falsely accuse people of transphobia whenever they get called out for something.
You know what’s really disturbing about this? Every time someone calls out K. M. Claude for their gross kinks, they claim that person is only attacking them because they’re trans. It makes it sound like Claude thinks being a pedophile, a necrophile, or some other kind of gross person is on the same level as being trans.
K. M. Claude and roachpatrol are missing the point. When people complain about sexualization, they’re complaining about:
People, particularly marginalized people, being oversexualized and reduced to fetish objects.
Portraying harmful things such as rape, pedophilia, or incest as sexy.
I’d like to remind people that both Claude and Roach have made erotic fiction about minors being sexually abused. Claude has also created a lot of rape/incest-themed porn involving their adult characters.
K. M. Claude seems to have the mindset of, ‘Other people are doing this thing, so that makes it okay’. Like, no, other peoples’ bad behavior doesn’t cancel out their bad behavior.
Also, I think part of the problem is Claude surrounds themself with people who either a.) sexualize minors in their own works, or b.) support and consume media that sexualizes minors, so their opinion of what’s acceptable is pretty warped.
Yeah, I have a really hard time believing K. M. Claude draws the things they draw for catharsis or any kind of coping, considering they made statements like ‘I want a harem of shotas’ and called themself an underage kink-haver.
Also, there is absolutely no reason for Claude (or anyone else) to post pornographic artwork of children. It only encourages pedophiles to view kids as sex objects, and many pedophiles have used this material to groom children for sex.
K. M. Claude thinks that if you’re not paid for your art, you’re completely immune to criticism [x]
Claude accuses a different anon of harassing their friend because of a couple of innocent questions [x], [x]
K. M. Claude falsely accuses the original anon of bugging Claude’s friend, despite that person’s claims that they didn’t do it. [x]
Originally, I said there was one anon who was attacked by Claude for offering a bit of constructive criticism, then messaging one of Claude’s friends about it. Actually, there were two different anons, one who sent K. M. Claude some suggestions about their artwork, and another who contacted one of Claude’s friends.
