“why is a thirteen year old discoursing about sexual ships they should be on neopets not on a website whose mobile app is 17+ and which allows smut (18+ in I think Germany if I remember the screengrab @kirtlandswarbler took) if they don’t like fandom ships that for the record are older than they are for a book series that’s over half their age holy shit.
granted when i was 13 i was technically homeless and also writing about harry potter getting his ass fucked by voldemort but…c’est la vie. god kids are so ignorant y’all need to learn you some fandom history like holy fuck, i’m filled with a mix of pity and indigestion.”
Claude is referring to this post which reads, ‘Stop shipping literal kids’.
From Tumblr’s Terms of Service:
“You have to be at least 13 years old to use Tumblr. We’re serious: it’s a hard rule, based on U.S. federal and state legislation. “But I’m, like, 12.9 years old!” you plead. Nope, sorry. If you’re younger than 13, don’t use Tumblr. Ask your parents for a Playstation 4, or try books.“
13-year-olds have every right to be on Tumblr, and have every right to expect adults not to fetishize children and child abuse in fiction.
“You find it dishonest because it is in fact dishonest. “Truth? What is truth? I wash my hands of this matter” and all that.”
#1. Claude rarely gets any threats. Besides, he’s an open pedophile, so obviously people are going to send him hate.
#2. People sending asks expressing disgust/disagreement/etc. over Claude’s content isn’t baiting.
#3. I’ve never victim-blamed Claude, because he’s not a victim of anything except his own foolishness.
#4. This ask also ignores the many times Claude has overreacted to genuine criticism, citing it as an example of harassment. It also ignores the times Claude has harassed people and not apologized for it (Warning: Links contain gore and self harm-baiting).
When did I ever deadname K. M. Claude? The only reason I have his older aliases listed on this blog is because some of the receipts on him involve content posted under those names. Specifically, the only place I have Claude’s old aliases listed is here.
I don’t think K. M. Claude realizes how harmful slurs are. He thinks that if he personally isn’t offended by something, no else is allowed to be.
- Claude has repeatedly used the term futa/futanari in reference to porn, even though many people have told him that it’s a slur against trans women and intersex people. [x], [x], [x]
- He also tried to argue that ‘futa’ and ‘cuntboy’ had nothing to do with trans people, even though many people use those words as slurs against trans people.
- He thinks trans men can call themselves dykes. [x], [x], [x]
- Claude never tags or warns for slurs when he uses them in his posts.
“I’m not a huge fan of them, no. I’d never be senselessly cruel to a child or purposefully hurt a child – or anyone, really – but I’m not a big fan.”
Just because you don’t like kids in general doesn’t mean you aren’t sexually attracted to them (For people who haven’t heard about K. M. Claude, read this list for proof that he’s a pedophile). Sexual attraction to someone doesn’t necessarily mean you want to spend time with them on a regular basis.
From the post in question:
“Dude, it’s just drawings. Who fucking cares, enjoy it. Besides, futa and cuntboys ain’t trans so please don’t feel guilty or let anyone make you feel bad for liking that shit.”
If the characters in futa/cuntboy porn aren’t supposed to be trans, then why do people see them as interchangeable with trans people? Why do people use the terms ‘futa’ and ‘cuntboy’ as slurs against trans people? Fact is, cis people who consume and produce this kind of porn are harming trans people, because they’re treating us as if our existence is inherently deviant and reducing us to a fetish.
(Also, FYI, futa/cuntboy porn harms intersex people too.)
Before anyone tries to argue that K. M. Claude doesn’t hate women, keep in mind he has stated that all women are ‘fucking cunts’. Also, he has downplayed rape culture while using victim-blaming rhetoric.
As for why Claude still has fans: People have a tendency to defend their favorite content creators no matter what. They probably believe that because Claude draws well, he can be as terrible as he likes.
